To support accelerating demand from automotive, packaging, and industrial appliance clients across Western India and international export markets, PCR Polymers LLP has officially commissioned its newest high-torque twin-screw compounding extrusion line at our Surat manufacturing facility.

Expanding Annual Capacity to Over 6,000 Metric Tonnes

The new continuous line features an L/D ratio of 48:1 with high-efficiency vacuum degassing ports and computerized gravimetric side-feeders. This expansion increases our plant throughput to over 6,000 MT annually, reducing lead times for custom compound orders.

The line is purpose-built to handle filled composites, high-impact modified PPCP, and specialized masterbatch dosing with tighter energy-efficiency metrics.

Enhanced In-House Testing Laboratory

Alongside the extrusion line, we have upgraded our quality testing laboratory with automated Melt Flow Indexers, universal tensile testing rigs, and colour spectrophotometers.

This ensures every batch leaving our facility is accompanied by full mechanical and rheological validation documentation.

  • Additional 2,000 MT/year throughput ready for immediate contract manufacturing.
  • Reduced lead times from 14 days down to 5 days for custom compounded lots.
  • Advanced colour spectrophotometry guarantees delta-E color matching below 0.8.
